Decking is a great way of creating a welcoming social space in the garden. The latest generation of composite decking from Millboard looks amazingly like wood but comes without the maintenance headaches. It is a perfect solution if you want to cut down on work without compromising on looks. Individual planks are moulded from selected timbers and are hand-coloured in authentic tones so it’s hard to tell that the deck is not real wood. Millboard decking does not need any of the annual green-removing and preservation treatments that traditional wood decking requires and it outlasts wood by many years. Unlike wood, it doesn’t rot, retains high slip-resistance even when wet, and requires little maintenance other than a simple wipe clean.
